Healing in Community
Let’s admit it: Asking for help is one of the most difficult things in life. It’s hard to admit that we are emotionally hurting and can't find a way out. Sometimes, our pride, fear, embarrassment, shame, denial, hopelessness, and helplessness become barriers to our healing. But we must understand that we all need help sometimes in our lives. People who struggle with mental health issues are the rule, not the exception. In this world, we don’t have a group of healthy people vs. unhealthy; we have a group of broken people longing to heal. You are either entering a crisis, in a crisis, or recovering from a crisis.

As a clinical therapist, pastor, and fellow journeyer on the path toward healing, I am very familiar with brokenness and healing in the lives of others, including myself.

One of the greatest tragedies is that we choose to struggle alone. We are not designed to heal in isolation but in community. Your job is to be courageous enough to ask for help. My job is to walk a journey with you – offering hope, healing, grace, and truth.
