About Dr. Jeff Biddle

Dr. Jeff Biddle holds a Doctor of Social Work/Executive Leadership, DSW, from the University of Southern California, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, an M.Div. in Practical Theology from Talbot School of Theology, and a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist (#46712) and has practiced for over 16 years.

 

Dr. Biddle served in full-time ministry for 18 years as a youth pastor, marriage and family pastor, pastor of Christian counseling, director of support groups and a 12-step biblical recovery program, and mentor to the church staff. He is often called the “therapist with a pastoral heart and a therapeutic mindset.”

 

Dr. Biddle has maintained a counseling private practice since 2005, providing clinical expertise for pastors, missionaries, and those in ministry. Additional areas of clinical expertise include therapy for therapists and CAMFT-certified supervision for supervisors. Specializations include anxiety, depression, identity/worth/self-image, pre-marital, marital enrichment, marital crisis, multiple-day marital intensives, and sexual addiction/betrayed partners.

 

Most recently, Dr. Biddle served for 12 years as the Director of the California Baptist University Counseling Center, overseeing 28 therapists, clinical supervisors, and staff.

 

Dr. Biddle values time with God and his family as the highest priority. He has been happily married for 35 years, has three grown children, and is happy to be called a grandpa! In addition, he enjoys hiking, backpacking, gold panning, BBQ grilling, and beekeeping.
